Christopher St. J. H. Daniel: delineavit

The memorial is in the form of an equatorial armillary sphere. Although the memorial itself does not mention it, it was erected in honour of the Savoy Hotel's centenary.
There seems to be no consistency in the spelling of the name: D'Oyle, Doyle, D'Oyly or even D'Oyley. We have left the plaque transcription as is, but otherwise we have tried to consistently use D'Oyly.
