Site: Charlton Athletic mural (1 memorial)

SE7, Charlton Church Lane

Commissioned and funded by the Charlton Athletic Museum, this mural was created in 2020 and retouched in 2024. However a full refurbishment is needed which is planned for summer 2025, funds permitting. "The Museum's trustees would love to hear from any fans or local community groups able to help fund the approximate £2,000 cost of a full repaint and repair."

We thank our friend, local resident Jennie Stanley, for providing these photos. the Charlton Athletic stadium, The Valley, is very close, not far behind the trees that can be seen in our photo and, from the map, we thought it might be possible to see it from this bridge, but Jennie says no.
