The foundation stone of this extension was laid by Miriam Moses OBE JP, for 28 years the devoted Hon. warden of the Brady Settlement.

Led by Miriam Moses ... – the Club supported the community during the war years and after, offering shelter and practical help to hundreds of young women and families." and there you will find some wonderful photos of activities at the club, including a visit from the Beatles.
