This tree was planted to celebrate the life of Bhavana Krishnamoorthy, 1975 - 2004, SOAS research student.

School of Oriental and African Studies, part of the University of London. The building on the right is by Lasdun. The young trees at the left, planted in memory of two murdered students are for, left to right: Krishnamoorthy, Senitt.

Thiruvalluvar Day is celebrated here each year, in 2018 on 19 January.
