Anton Bruckner

Erection date: 1976

Inscription

On 29 July 1871 the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, 1824 - 1896, stayed in the house which used to occupy this site. Bruckner started work on his second symphony during his period in London.

Plaque put up by Brunel University but we can't work out their connection with the building, or Bruckner.

We were warned off taking these photos by a security man. Heavens above - it's a public pavement! So we took them anyway. Enjoy.
