Commemorating 150 years of Finsbury Park, 7th August 2019, this stone is to give thanks for the vision of those in our parks who saw the value of creating open, free, public green spaces in the heart of our communities.
Frederick Manable, Superintending Architect to the Metropolitan Board of Works and Alexander McKenzie, the Landscape Designer - 7th August 1869.

Celebrating 150 years of Finsbury Park

Erected in 2019 and vandalised by the time we visited in 2023 - probably impossible to repair.
