{Translates as: The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple managed the restoration of this building, which had been consumed by the ravages of time. The work was begun by Alfred George Marten Esq (treasurer) in 1893 and completed by Arthur Cohen Esq (treasurer) in 1894.}

Site: Hare Court rebuilt - east (1 memorial)

EC4, Hare Court

 The sculpture, 'Hands of Justice' by Tanya Russell, is not a memorial, as far as we know. The decorative plaque is on the wall behind, to the left of the hands, at ground/first floor level, almost, but not entirely, hidden in our photo by the tree foliage.

This plaque has many similarities with the one on the west side of the building. See there for further information.
