Virginia Stewart Manwaring Robertson

Virginia Stewart Norman was born on 4 September 1943, her birth being registered in the 3rd quarter of 1943 in the Bishops Stortford Registration District, Hertfordshire.

She married Simon Manwaring Robertson in the 2nd quarter of 1965 in the Bishops Stortford Registration District. She adopted her husband's forename of Manwaring and electoral registers from 1965 to 1969 show her as Virginia Manwaring Robertson. They were both listed at 26 Gertrude Street, London, SW10.

They had two children: Edward Manwaring Robertson (b.1968) and Selina Manwaring Robertson (b.1969).

Her husband, as the Chairman of Rolls Royce plc, was created a Knight Bachelor for services to business in the 2010 Queen's Birthday Honours List. As a trustee in the Dischma Charitable Trust she is (in 2025) listed as Virginia Stewart Manwaring Robertson.

She is shown as Virginia Robertson on the Bridge of Aspiration memorial in Floral Street, London, WC2.
