Born William Purdie Treloar at 7 Holland Street, Blackfriars. Joined his father's business Treloar's Carpet Co. Also head of a firm of haberdashers, Treloar and Sons. Lord Mayor of London 1906-7. Known as "The Children's Lord Mayor" he built a hospital for crippled children in Hants. now known as Lord Mayor Treloar Orthopaedic Hospital. And he wrote a diary, Lord Mayor's Diary, 1920.

Businessman and politician. Born in Maidstone. He founded a company of paper merchants. Alderman on the Bridge House Estates Committee, 1894 and later, Chair. Elected as Lord Mayor of London in 1900.
Swan Marker and Barge Master of the Vinters Company c.2006-7. Modelled for the figure in the Vintners statue. Deceased by 2023.
