Built on the site of the New Mermaid Tavern for John Robert Daniel-Tyssen . By the 1890s the house had been divided into shops and by 1877 Brett Road had encroached into its gardens.
Lords Meade
The picture source says "This is an 1865 photo of the house "Lord's Meade". John Eliot and Maria Howard moved there on 12th October 1830 and lived there all their lives."
West Dene, 3 Charteris Road
Sylvia Pankhurst lived here 1933 - 1956. It was demolished probably sometime 1970 - 1995 and the site is now occupied by the Tamar Square development.
