Died aged five years. Andrew Behan has kindly carried out some research on this little girl. Elizabeth Taylor was born on 17 March 1912 in Stepney, the elder daughter of Charles Henry Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor née Harding. Her father was a Carman. On 7 April 1912 she was baptised at St Matthew's Church, Limehouse Fields, Stepney and the family is recorded as living at 6 Park Street, Limehouse. They moved to 8 South East Row, Poplar. She attended Upper North Street School, Poplar and died there on 13 June 1917, aged 5 years, as a result of a German aeroplane bombing raid that killed a total of 18 children. She was buried on 20 June 1917 in a mass grave at the East London Cemetery and Crematorium, 260a Grange Road, Plaistow.
