Born as Edith Emily Harrison. Wife of William Charles Appleby married 1900 in Stoke Newington. Mother of Alice, William, Louise, Jack, Edith, Thomas, Alfred, Alexander and Christopher. Lived at Hindle House Arcola Street Hackney. Killed by a high explosive bomb dropped on Hindle House. Buried at Abney Park Cemetery Stoke Newington.

Just 5 months after Edith was killed her son Christoher was killed serving in the Royal Navy.
