Miss Jeanne Valentine Pelletier

Jeanne Valentine Pelletier was born on 7 December 1894 but nothing would appear to be known of her early life. In the 1935 edition of Kelly's Directory of Kensington she is listed as Madame Jeanne Pelletier, a dressmaker, at 140 Cromwell Road, South Kensington.

In the 1939 England and Wales Register she is shown as a single woman and a dressmaker living at 410 Honeypot Lane, Stanmore, Harrow, Middlesex. Electoral registers from 1945 to 1965 show her recorded at 131 Holland Road, London, W.14.

Probate records confirm that her address had been 115a Holland Road, London, W14 8AS, when she died, aged 93 years, on 10 October 1988. Probate was granted on 6 January 1989 and her effects were listed as not exceeding £70,000.
