Marcus Mosiah Garvey III

Categories: Friend / family

Son of Marcus Garvey. Became an electrical engineer and served as the seventh president-general of the Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League which his father had founded.

This photograph from Natalie Lewis's Pinterest page is captioned "Amy Jacques Garvey {Garvey's second wife} and her sons, Marcus Garvey III (left) and Julius Garvey". From this photo it's difficult to believe that only three years separated the two boys. This video shows MGIII later in life.
