Makram was killed after Ramadan night prayers at Muslim Welfare House, next to Finsbury Park tube station.

The van-driving terrorist (whom we deliberately will not name) was sentenced in February 2018 to concurrent whole life terms for the murder of Makram Ali and the attempted murders of other people, 9 of whom were injured, with the minimum term of 43 years to be served.
