He was a son of Gabriel Samuel Brandon, Solicitor of Oakwood, Hammersmith, and the Uncle of Henry Brandon. who became a Barrister and ultimately a judge in the House of Lords as Lord Brandon of Oakwood. A member of the Moderate Party in the London County Council elected 1901 1904 1907 1910 for Hammersmith. Chairman of the Fire Brigade Committee: opened a fire station at 25-38, Gillender Street [1]. Member of the Metropolitan Water Board
