The Jimi Hendrix Experience first gig was at The Bag o' Nails Club. Consisted of singer-songwriter and guitarist Jimi Hendrix, bassist and backing vocalist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell. Reformed with Billy Cox instead of Noel Redding for a while in 1970.
