James "Bronterre" O'Brien

Democrat & chartist. Born County Longford, Ireland. Bronterre was initially a pseudonym but he later adopted it as his middle name. A child prodigy, he fell short of his early promise and died in poverty. The picture source provides some audio links about O'Brien - from the SPGB.
