The birth of George Pullen was registered in the 3rd quarter of 1911 in the Croydon registration district, Surrey (now Greater London). He married Rosetta Ellen Mansfield (1910-1988) in the 3rd quarter of 1938 in the Bromley registration district, Kent (now Greater London).

In the 1939 England and Wales Register he is described as a junior laboratory assistant and a member of the British Red Cross, living at 123 Mackenzie Road, Beckenham, Kent (now Greater London), with his wife.

He was serving as a Gunner in the 137th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, service number 1099794, when he died, aged 30 years, on 16 February 1942, in Ampang, Malaya (now called Malaysia).
