Our colleague, Andrew Behan, has researched this young man: Gerry Paul Francis was born on 21 August 1963 in Lewisham, the son of George P. Francis and Rosilia Y. Francis née Titre. He died, aged 17 years, on 18 January 1981 in a fire at party being held at 439 New Cross Road, London, SE14 6TA.
