Denise Capstick

Councillor Major Denise Capstick. Bermondsey councillor, Mayor of Southwark and Executive Member for Health and Social Care. Nurse reservist in the army. Rose to the rank of Major in the Territorial Army, now the Army Reserve. Worked as a nurse, nursing sister and matron for many years at Guy’s and St Thomas’s hospitals.
