Much of the street research for LondonRemembers is done by bike. 820 cyclists were killed or seriously injured in 2009 on roads in Britain. Many of these deaths are avoidable. Many of the drivers of the motor vehicles involved received minimal, if any, legal penalty.

Employed at the Silvertown Brunner Mond works and killed in the 1917 Silvertown explosion. Imperial War Museum has a page, and there we learnt that she was a 17-year old munitions worker.
Eldest daughter of Richard Attenborough. Her husband Michael, who also lost his mother and daughter chaired the group that erected the memorial.
