Carol Ann Gold was born on 5 August 1945 the daughter of Joseph Gold (1909-1975) and Esther Queenie Gold née Millet (1916-2005).

She married Harry Arieh Simon Djanogly (b.1938) in the 1st quarter of 1964 in the Paddington Registration District, London. They had three children: Johnathan Simon Djanogly (b.1965); Joanne Kate Djanogly (b.1967) and Simone Esther Djanogly (b.1967).

She died, aged 72 years, on 25 March 2018 and was buried on 26 March 2018 in Plot FP.18, E, 5, in the Bushey Jewish Cemetery, Little Bushey Lane, Bushey, Hertfordshire. 

She and her husband are shown as 'Harry and Carol Djanogly' on The Bridge of Aspiration memorial in Floral Street, London, WC2.
