Betty Afua Agyapong

Betty Afua Agyapong was born on 3 April 1955. She died, aged 32 years, in the King's Cross Underground Station fire on 18 November 1987 and was buried on 5 December 1987 in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Administration of her estate was not granted until 5 May 1989 and interestingly give her an alternative name. The probate records read: AGYAPONG Betty or MENSAH, Atta SERWAH - of Room 7, Cambridge Hotel, 101 Belgrave Road, London, SW1. Effects not exceeding £70,000.

The subsequent fire investigation report described her as unmarried and a student.
