Newbury Abbot Trent

Categories: Sculpture

Sculptor. Born Forest Gate. His cousin was a cinema architect which probably explains a number of theatrical commissions. Married Hilda, sister of Gilbert Ledward. Other work in London includes the New Barnet war memorial, the Cries of London on Buchanan House, St James's Square and the two large carved relief panels on the Adelphi entrance reveals depicting industrial and shipping scenes. For three outside London see the always interesting English Buildings.
