Born India. Being in the air force he married Agatha while on leave, on Christmas Eve, 1914. He rose to colonel. After the war he got a job in the City and then one which took him and his family around the world. In December 1926 his declaration of love for another woman prompted Agatha's much publicised 10 day disappearance. They divorced in 1928. The picture shows the couple during the war.
