Wright and Docking

Inscription

In memory of Robert R. Wright, born 24 April 1945, Peter Docking born 1 March 1967, who tragically died at St Magnus House on 22 April 1998.

An off-the-shelf gravestone unusually used as a memorial outside of a cemetery.

EC3, Lower Thames Street

Our colleague, Alan Patient, found some details at the Bromley Newshopper, which reports that the two men were window cleaners, working “on the ninth floor of a Midland Bank building in Lower Thames Street, City of London. Something gave way and the cradle, complete with supporting structure, came crashing down onto a Transit van parked below. Both men are believed to have died of multiple injuries.”
