SW6, Church Gate

Founded in 1680 by Sir William Powell to house twelve widows. Rebuilt in 1793, and again in 1869. Residency is still reserved for older women only. They are managed by the Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation.

On the tower are three busts named Faith, Charity and Hope; and six statues named Miriam, Anna, Deborah, Dorcas, Ruth and Mary.
