September 11 - Westminster

Inscription

Westminster Tree Trust
North American Sweet Gum trees.
Donated by the citizens of Westminster to commemorate those lives lost on 11th September 2001, in the United States of America and as a token of friendship between our respective nations.

The picture for the Westminster Tree Trust shows one of these trees being planted.

W1, Grosvenor Square

This might be a rather dull picture but the alternative was to take a photograph of the American Embassy. With all the security barriers it is not a pretty sight and also we didn't really want our camera confiscated.
