Royal Arcade - Victoria

Site: Royal Arcade (1 memorial)

W1, Old Bond Street, 28

This arcade has two addresses, one at each end: 28 Old Bond Street and 12 Albermarle Street. The decorative facade, including the relief bust of Queen Victoria seems identical at both ends. Built in 1879, her 60th year, the relief still shows a young woman - that's how to attract a very desirable customer. Ornamental Passions has a good entry on this building.
