Inscription

Peachey Edwards House
This block was built in 2004 by Swan Housing Association and was transferred to THCH in 2007. It was named after Peachey Edwards House a block of sheltered housing that had been on the site between 1960 and 1997. This block had in turn been named after George Henry Peachey-Edwards (1894-1972), who had worked for Bethnal Green Borough Council for forty years, rising to become the Chief Clerk.
