Lilian Lindsay, 1871 - 1960, the first woman dentist to qualify in Britain, lived here.

This plaque was first erected on Lindsay's childhood home in Holloway, but when that was illegally demolished another home (Lindsay's and the plaque's) was found.

The British Dental Association moved into this property in 1919 and by 1935 had moved to 13 Hill Street, W1.
