Site: War memorial: Gamages and Benetfink (2 memorials)

EC4, Holborn Viaduct, St Andrews Holborn, in garden

The Gamages/Benetfink plaque was brought to our attention by this post at A London Inheritance.

In our photo you can see a path leading from the terrace to the Gamage and Benetfink plaque.  At the terrace end the J. D. D. plaque is laid into that path. We understand that the gardens around the church used to be a graveyard so stones like this are to be expected but its position seems to be indicating a connection of some sort with the Gamage and Benetfink plaque.
