This plaque is placed at the junction with Cunard Crescent in a new housing estate, this entrance being Halliwick Gate. Bush Hill House was also known as Halliwick House and was leased to Samuel Cunard, about 1850 -1878.

The plaque gives 1739 as the foundation date but sources give 1749.
We've not seen the plaque but the V&A's description confirms that it looks just like this Charles Dickens' one. Erected April-May 1876.
