{Between the badges of the City of London Police and the Police Memorial Trust:}

Commander Moore was attacked at this spot, but actually died later in a hospital in Bushey.

QPM is the Queen's Police Medal. This is the first police memorial to be unveiled to a member of the City of London Police Force.

Site: Hugh John Moore - plaque (1 memorial)

EC2, Poultry, 37

Curiously, the Police Memorial Trust's Website shows the plaque being unveiled on an easel at the Grocers' Hall and also at the Poultry site, both on the same day. Presumably the first was a duplicate.

At first sight one would think this statue was created shortly after WW1 rather than in 2009.
