Site: Hampstead Liberal Club (1 memorial)

NW3, Heath Street, 24

From British History Online: "Hampstead Liberal club was ... formed in 1880, at no. 13 High Street, and was at no. 1 Downshire Hill in 1885, no. 31 High Street in 1888, and no. 24 Heath Street from 1889."

Ed Fordham has "The offices were still in operation in 1925 and disposal may have taken place any time after that - it certainly coincides with the split and decline that then ensued in the Liberal Party."

We happened to be there on the day that the brickwork around this plaque was being renovated. The plaque is low on the building, hidden in our photo by the orange barriers.
