Diamond Jubilee QEII - Jefcoate tree

Erection date: 2012

Inscription

Black Poplar (Populus nigra betulifolia) planted in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen in 2012.
Similar trees generously donated by Roger Jefcoate CBE have been planted in every Greater London Borough.

This tree is in the borough of Wandsworth. There are 32 Greater London boroughs, and this is the first Jefcoate tree that we have come across. Possibly the others do not have stones declaring themselves.
