Crane Court - Royal Society

The Society's own website says "Meeting nights were indicated by a lamp hung over the Fleet Street entrance to the courtyard." Matt Brown of Londonist thinks (and we agree with him) that this lamp, at the centre of a sort of armillary sphere, is inspired by that lamp from over 200 years ago.
