Site: Burdett-Coutts School (1 memorial)

SW1, Rochester Street, Burdett-Coutts & Townshend Foundation CE Primary School

School founded by Angela Burdett-Coutts in 1849 and a member of that family still (2016) sits on the governing board. William had died just 3 years before the plaque was erected.

The plaque is over what is now the main entrance, at the A-board on the pavement in our photo.

See Chauncy Hare Townshend Schools for more information.
