Plaque

Benjamin Waugh - N14

Inscription

In a house on this site lived Benjamin Waugh when in 1884 he founded the N.S.P.C.C. "The only voice which reached him was the cry of the child."

The plaque is very similar in style to these erected by the City of London, (example) but the erectors are staying anonymous.

Site: Benjamin Waugh - N14 (1 memorial)
