Plaque

Pepys and Navy Office

Inscription

Site of the Navy Office in which Samuel Pepys lived and worked. Destroyed by fire 1673.
The Corporation of the City of London

Site: Pepys and Navy Office (1 memorial)

EC3, Seeting Lane

This plaque is attached to a stone hidden in the bushes. But helpfully the man in the red t-shirt and red socks is marking its location and the tourists at the right are pointing at it, or possibly at the socks.
