Shoreham Aircraft Museum

Founded by local enthusiasts, whose passion for the Battle of Britain period resulted in the establishment of a permanent display in 1988. It houses hundreds of relics excavated by the group from crashed British and German aircraft, as well as items which have been donated. In 2006, it decided to erect permanent memorials to all those Battle of Britain pilots who lost their lives within a ten miles radius of Shoreham Their tape measure must be a bit elastic since the Richard Reynell memorial is more like 15 miles away.
