A web manager and trade union representative at London Metropolitan University, Unison have a memorial page for him. Killed in a all too familiar 'left-hook' collision, unseen by a lorry turning left. This occurred at 8.30am Tuesday 21st June 2011 and Peter died 4 days later in the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. From ThisisLondon: "Police said the lorry drove off without stopping but the vehicle and the driver were later traced. A man in his fifties was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and was bailed to return to an east London police station in September."
