Martin Ludlow

Sculptor. From minutes of the Trustees committee: "Martin was the visionary, designer, sculptor, diplomat, executor and custodian of the Flame. He, alone in Methodism, was able to carry this off with his technical and artistic background, his historical knowledge and City links."

Public Sculpture of Staffordshire and the Black Country refers to a "Methodist Minister, Martin Ludlow of Aldersgate Church" commenting on a piece of sculpture in 1989.
