Joi

Categories: Music / songs

'Dubstep' music team founded by brothers Farook and Haroon Shamsher. Their music is a mixture of dee-jaying and electronics. Apparently, the best way to recognise a dubstep track or mix is by the sub-bass that is present in most productions, and is reverberated at different speeds to give a sense of movement and insistence (so now we know!).

The BBC site says "The group’s initial aim was to fuse traditional Bengali music with the energetic funk attack of James Brown."
