John Gordon Crawford

A wealthy, early member of the Burns Club of London (founded 1868). Undiscovered Dundee by Brian King informs: "... retired Glasgow merchant, who had lived in London for many years, had met the costs...".

Trying to discover more about JGC we discovered that a Robert Crawford was a Burns biographer and a Mr Crawford of Doonside figures in the life of Burns as told in the 1893 Annual Burns Chronicle and Club Directory. But these may have no connection with JGC.
