Henry Wilson (Capt)

Sea captain. He was commander of the packet ship The Antelope, which was part of the fleet of the East India Company. In 1783 he was shipwrecked off the island of Ulong. After some initial animosity, he befriended the inhabitants of nearby Pelew (modern day Palau), under the leadership of Abba Thulle. When his ship was rebuilt, he returned to Britain with Thulle's second son, Prince Lee Boo. he later became captain of The Warley and fought at the battle of Pulo Aura. Died at Colyton, Devon.
