The NPG has some information about this engineer/founder: Born c. 1817. Died April/March 1875. He maintained a foundry in the Grove, Great Guildford Street, Southwark for much of his life. He began casting bronze statues in about 1864. In a partnership, Prince & Whitehouse, 1851 - 9, then as Henry Prince & Co, 1860 - 75 when he died. Prince Albert, which was completed after his death, must have been his last work.
