Glyn Philpot

Categories: Art

Glyn Warren Philpot. Artist, known for his portraits. Born Clapham but brought up in Kent. It's fixed now, but when we first did the research Wikipedia had Philpot "married" to Vivian Forbes long before gay marriage was a thing! The painting is a self-portrait.

Died suddenly of a heart attack at his home, 1 Marlborough Gate House, Lancaster Gate.
