Physician, physical therapist, physical educator, and sculptor. Born Ontario of Scots stock. Served as a medical officer in Manchester in WW1. He was commisioned for the 1927 Scots American war memorial in Edinburgh. He considered the central figure his best work and that is where his heart is buried.
